\\ 223m is a site specific performance made at Brakke Grond, Amsterdam, for the occasion of Beyond The Black Box, a multidisciplinary festival that took place February 8-10 2019. It’s a continuous walking performance, based on a lap of 223m around the theater venue Brakke Grond, in the centre of Amsterdam (near Dam square), in which audience members are invited to actively join. Every participant decides how long he or she takes part. There is a white space where the experience starts and ends, functioning as a recognition point on a cinematic, and hyper-focused journey through the urban tissue.
