\\ PSSST, theatre installation for TAAT in cooperation with Cie. Covar, Rotterdam

\\ Cie. Covar is a Maastricht based music theatre collective founded by actrice Els Roobroeck. The name Covar is a contraction between ‘Co’ from Le Corbusier and ‘Var’ from Varese, the architect and composer that cocreated the Philips pavilion for the World Expo of Brussels in 1958.

\\ The basic setup for the project PSSST is a constellation of six architecturally designed music and sound units, which shape the participant’s perspective on the life in public space. Inside every unit a different story unfolds on the music compositions of Kwinten Mordijck. The stories are written by Maartje Wortel, Anton Dautzenberg en Pepijn Lanen.

\\ TAAT designed the shape and perspective of every box in close relation to the dramaturgical vision of Els, finding a balance between every specific story and the relation to the ‘spontanious’ narrative of the public realm.
